The predictable path of the Sun creates opportunities for beautiful sunrise landscapes. This is a well-timed shot of the Sun rising above Long Island's Inlet Bridge (Long Island to Fire Island). Early morning colors give a dramatic feel to a Sun that appears to be trapped behind bars.

My favorite subject is, and has always been, the wildlife and coastal regions of Long Island. I am constantly striving to capture the raw beauty of this dynamic landscape.
