A Fire Island ferry makes one last crossing under a fiery twilight sky.

From the moment that I acquired my first gear, a vintage 120 mm box camera, I have been a hopeless shutterbug. My favorite subject is, and has always been, the wildlife and coastal regions of Long Island. I am constantly striving to capture the raw beauty of this dynamic landscape. Many of my photographs are the result of careful planning for the best light in the most opportune geographic location. I spend my year pursuing the Sun, the Moon, and the seasons all along the coasts of Long Island. I am always in search of misty harbors, kaleidoscopic sunsets, and surf tormented shores.
